In February 2010, while working as an Ed Tech at a local elementary school, I was asked to do a cooking project with a few students. While trying to figure out a fun (yet tasty and simple) recipe to make with them, it finally came to me: soft pretzels!!
I had religiously enjoyed this popular snack throughout my years living in Philadelphia, and thought it would be a hit with the kids. It turned out that not only was it a hit with the students, but with my co-workers as well! Before long, I was rising before the crack of dawn each Friday morning to bake them soft pretzels to order!
Now, I am rising before dawn almost every day to fulfill a dream of entrepreneurship and making people happy with a fresh, wholesome, home-made snack made from high-quality ingredients.
And I didn't stop at just a regular, salted pretzel (although when asked, this is admittedly still my favorite). I have had--and continue to have--a great time taking soft pretzels to a new level with unique flavor additions.
